It is the policy of this organization that employees report unsafe conditions and do not perform work tasks if the work is considered unsafe. Ghiotto & Associates, Inc. has a Safety Policy Handbook which is given to every new employee at the time of hire, accompanied by a receipt for said handbook signed for by the employee. In addition, the Survey Field Supervisor, Chad Anders, conducts monthly safety meetings with all members of the survey crews using safety videos/ handouts from the Northeast Florida Safety Council, as well as Travelers Insurance Risk Control Issues monthly news briefs.
Ghiotto & Associates, Inc. is a drug-free workplace with Zero Tolerance. Each new applicant is required to undergo a drug testing program prior to employment. In addition, a copy of Ghiotto & Associates, Inc. Drug Policy is given to every new employee at the time of hire.
Each survey crew vehicle contains a packet of information relating to emergency medical care and an accident report kit.
